Head of ICT nominated for prestigious international award
We are pleased to announce that our Head of ICT, Chris Leach, has been nominated for a prestigious Learning Without Frontiers award. These awards celebrate international practitioners who improve learning by demonstrating genuine innovation and best practice that can be shared amongst colleagues. Chris has been nominated in the Primary and Pre-School Innovator category in recognition of his creative teaching of ICT across a wide age range, such as his use of Twitter and social media in his 1066 Election project and the introduction of programming to the curriculum. He has been shortlisted and is now in the final three in his category and it is now down to a public vote to decide the winner.
