Christmas 2009 - Raising Money for ‘Shelter’
On Thursday 10th December, Years 3 and 4 performed ‘One Bright Star’ as part of their Readings and Carols for Christmas in the School Hall. ‘One Bright Star’ was produced by the charity ‘Shelter’, the housing and homelessness charity.
At the end of the service, there was a collection for ‘Shelter’. The money raised will help look after people who don’t have homes and are less fortunate than us.
The rest of Upper School also raised money at the Carol Service at St. Peter’s Church the next day. Altogether we raised £926.62 and are very proud that we achieved something that can change someone’s life.
We are very grateful to everyone who gave money and would like to say thank you to the staff and the Music Department for helping us.
