On
the 29th of February 2008
, we went on a trip to Cadbury’s World. Bubbling with excitement we went to the education room and Colin talked to us about the History of Cadbury and how they help cocoa farmers in
Ghana
.
After we had gained all the knowledge we could, we wandered through the exhibition set in
America
where cocoa was grown.
After this we came into a demonstration of
Bull Street
, the first shop, and how chocolate was made. Then we went to the packaging plant which unfortunately wasn’t working.
We then had a lovely filling lunch and got ready for the next part of the trip. This was when we went to Essence which showed how Dairy Milk was made and we got a tasting of liquid chocolate.
Lastly we had a chance to visit the shop (getting ready for Mother’s Day).
Sad for the trip to be over, but happy because we had all had such a good time, we clambered back on the bus and took off back to school.
