On Monday evening the schoool entertained the Mayor and Mayoress of Brackley and a large number of VIP guests.They were invited to a viewing of the annual Art and Design Technology exhibition
and the evening culminated with a performance by Y8 children of the drama "Shut Up!"
A highlight of the event was the unveiling and presentation of Serena Holbech's painting.

Serena, who has won an art scholarship to
Tudor
Hall
School
in Banbury, is an exceptional young artist who has worked hard on her large scale paintings and produced work of A level standard. Her art tutor,
Toby Till
, said “Serena has amazed us all with her artistic skills and inspired so many of her fellow
student
s with her dedication and creativity.” As a parting gift to
Winchester
House
School
, before she leaves at the end of term, Serena created a large painting of the school building. which was unveiled before the Mayor of Brackley. Her painting has been given pride of place in the school where it will be a permanent feature for visitors and pupils to admire.
