The 18th Winchester House School Netball tournament was a great success, the sun was shining and all 8 teams turned up ready to play some excellent netball. The 1st VII won all of their group matches comfortably and showed that they were determined to prove themselves throughout the day.
They played Headington School in the semi final winning 8 – 2, after a slow first half. This meant that they were to play Wellingborough in the final. This was a repeat of last year, when we unfortunately lost in a close game. The team played superbly and dominated the match. The final score was a fantastic 7 – 3 to our girls, an excellent way to round off this half term. Hopefully the season will continue in this vein after the holidays.
