The 22nd of February saw the gathering of Alumnae of Winchester House at the Lansdowne Club in London. It was an informal gathering that brought many former pupils back together for an evening of reminiscences, while also giving everyone the chance to catch up with former acquaintances, including members of staff.
Mr Richard Speight, President of the Association, gave a speech about a recently retired Alumna who had given great service to the school, Mr Keith Fowler. Keith had been a pupil at the school, before returning as a Governor and then finally taking over as Chairman of the Governors in 1995. In all, Keith had given over 35 years of service, only retiring in 2011. His contribution to the continued success of the school is clearly evident and was fully appreciated by all.

Mr Mark Seymour gave a synopsis of where the school currently was, a “state of the Nation” type address, before finishing with his vision of where the school was going to go in the future.
In all, some 65 Alumnae were in attendance, making for a thoroughly enjoyable evening. All expressed an interest to attend the next event, a dinner which will be held at the school towards the end of the year.
