Memories Evening

Mr Keith Fowler( Chairman of Governors) and Mr Richard Speight (Ex Headmaster) along with Mr Ian Menzies and Mr Tom More (Governors), hosted an evening for the present children in which they collectively recounted their experiences as boarders at WHS.

The Old Boys tell how it was.

The history of the school was brought to life in a very humorous and personal way.

The new Boys can't believe it.

Pictures of the school buildings and ex members of staff provoked many questions from the enthralled audience. The children were delighted to get such an insight into the past and be able to connect so strongly with life fifty or so years ago.

Many of the children commented that "it was the best talk they had been to".
