Beachborough Run 2022

Our U11 and U13 girls’ and boys’ cross country teams had a fantastic afternoon at the Beachborough Run.

The U11s ran a 1.6 mile course with the U13s completing 2.6 miles. The children ran with huge determination with the U11 boys taking team first and Huw taking the silver medal. The U11 girls ran a great race taking team 4th, with the U13 girls also moving up the field and taking 4th place. The U13 boys, depleted by two runners, ran hard and came 8th. All the pre-match nerves were well worth it and the Whippets should all be very proud of themselves. Enormous thanks to Mark Usher and the team @beachboroughprep for organising such a great afternoon of running, to our wonderful band of supporters and canine friends and to Mrs Proger for supplying runners with the most delicious home baking!
