Cricketing Success for WHS

What a fantastic weekend for our cricketers!
On Saturday 10th May, Our U12A team travelled to St Hugh’s for a fast-paced 10-over, eight-a-side Cricket Festival and put on a fantastic display of skill and teamwork — finishing joint 1st overall, only missing out on the trophy on a count back of runs. Special congratulations to Harry, crowned Batter of the Day!
On Sunday 11th May, our 1st XI headed to The Downs Malvern for the U13 Cricket 6’s Tournament. With determination in their stride and eager to go one better than last year’s performance, the boys approached the day with determination and enthusiasm, and were ultimately rewarded with a triumphant and well-deserved tournament win.
A huge well done to all our players for showing such passion, perseverance and sportsmanship on and off the pitch.
