DT: Chocolate mould

Year 4 has focused on “Wonka” and chocolate last term.
Connected to their term topic centred around chocolate – in DT, pupils designed a new logo and brand name for a chocolate bar. They then chose a rectangular or
triangular shaped net and added information such as the weight, ingredients, barcode etc to their package.
Having completed their package they have worked on making a hardwood ‘former’ or mould to create a vacuum formed chocolate bar tray. They then made a vacuum formed food safe tray before working with the catering department to pour chocolate into them.
A big thank you goes out to Mr. Scouse, and Lewis, our chef, for their assistance in this project.
