Evenley Forest Visit

Year 2 had a fun day of learning at Evenley Wood Garden. We listened carefully to the Evenley Wood rules and suggested some of our own, so we could keep ourselves safe and look after the woods. Jo, our Evenley Wood leader, took us on an adventure through the woods, collecting items for our journey sticks, we enjoyed giving Humphrey the Redwood a hug, he was so soft! We made a wish by throwing a leaf into the stream from the bridge. After our picnic lunch, we roasted apples dipped in sugar and cinnamon over the fire (they were delicious). Jo was impressed by our knowledge of what fires need and how to keep safe near them.
