The storyline centred on a young English knight sent by King Henry VIII in 1540 to seek out a suitable bride in France. However, he encounters obstacles including his inadequate grasp of French, inability to paint, and interference from the lady’s protective maid.

Winchester House is a co-educational day and boarding independent prep school in Northamptonshire, near the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire borders, for children from nursery (age 3) to year 8 (age 13).
