IAPS Hockey

After winning the qualifying tournament at the end of September, by beating the Dragon 1:0 in a very competitive final, the Junior As girls qualified for the National Finals on the 10th November, hosted by Millfield School in Dorset. The girls travelled down the night before and stayed in a wonderful Air B&B with Mrs James-Carter and Mr Miller.

There were 24 schools competing from across the UK, split into four leagues of six teams. The top two teams of each league would qualify for the Cup Competition, the 3rd and 4th place teams would compete for the Plate and the 5th and 6th Teams would compete for the Bowl.

Getting this far is an amazing achievement and our Junior As team is effectively ranked equal 5th in the whole of the UK.
