We are thrilled to announce that Winchester House School has made it to the Muddy Stilettos’ list of 34 Brilliant Boarding Prep Schools outside London.

“Winchester House is a traditional co-ed prep, pre-prep and nursery school for 3-13 year olds sitting in 18 acres in the attractive market town of Brackley in South Northamptonshire. Part of the Stowe group (also incorporating Stowe and Swanbourne in Bucks), it’s an official feeder prep for Stowe, if you’re already thinking ahead, and of the 320 pupils, around 90 board either occasionally, flexi or weekly. Small classes sizes of around 18 are guaranteed here, with a fairly even split of boys and girls. Sport is wholeheartedly embraced here with some rather niche option as well as the standard offerings, including polo club, a ski team, riding lessons, and squash.”  Muddy Stilettos
