New Appointment: Simon Preece

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Simon Preece as Deputy Head Pastoral & Boarding at Winchester House, effective September 2025.

A Sports Science graduate from UWIC, Simon brings over 20 years of experience in education, including 16 years in senior leadership. He is a dedicated and hands-on leader, committed to fostering pastoral care, student wellbeing, and co-curricular engagement. He joins us from Beachborough Prep School, where he currently serves as Deputy Headmaster and Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Beyond his professional commitments, Simon is an accomplished rugby, football, and basketball player and coach, with a passion for the outdoors and family life.

We look forward to welcoming Simon to the Winchester House community and to the invaluable contributions he will make to our School.
