Staff vs. Parents Hockey Showdown!

In a highly anticipated match, the staff team faced off against the parents in an exciting game of hockey on Friday evening. It was a tightly contested first half with most of the hockey being played through the midfield with little between the two sides. Mr Scott finally broke through the staff defense and neatly slotted the ball passed Mr Longman in goal leading the parents into the half time team talk 1-0 up.

At the start of the second half, the staff were eager to get back into the game and adopted a new tactic. This posed some challenges for the parents, but they remained solid in defense, with Mr Tom in goal making some excellent saves. It wasn’t until the final 15 minutes – when tired legs began to show on both teams, that Mr Devine seized his moment to shine, scoring three quick goals to complete a well-deserved hat trick and secure a 3-1 victory for the staff.

The support from parents, pupils, and staff on the sidelines was immense, creating a fantastic atmosphere. A huge thank you to everyone who took part!
