Stowe IAPS Cricket Tournament – 19/05/25

 
Our Junior A cricket team had a fantastic day at the IAPS Cricket Tournament, finishing as runners-up after some outstanding all-round performances.
In the group stage, we won all three matches, showcasing disciplined bowling, sharp fielding, and aggressive batting. Highlights included restricting
Piper’s Corner to just 32 runs, posting a strong 66-run total against Berkhamsted backed by excellent bowling and an explosive 108-run partnership from Martha and Scarlett against St Albans.
In the final against Godstowe, we posted a competitive 79 for 3, with strong contributions from Scarlett, Martha, Jasmine, and Jess. Despite tight bowling and clever fielding, Godstowe reached the target in the final over.
It was a superb team effort throughout, with great improvement shown and a performance to be proud of.
