
Winchester House Excels at the Da Vinci Academic Decathlon
Winchester House School proudly showcased its academic excellence at the prestigious Da Vinci Academic Decathlon during an exciting trip to Ampleforth. Competing against 15 top UK teams across two age categories—Juniors (Years 7 & 8) and Intermediates (Years 9 & 10)—both WHS teams demonstrated incredible problem-solving, teamwork, and intellectual skill.
What is the Da Vinci Academic Decathlon?
Founded in 2002 at Knox High School in Sydney, the Da Vinci Decathlon is a globally recognized academic competition designed to challenge and stretch high-achieving students. Thousands of pupils compete worldwide in disciplines such as mathematics, science, engineering, English, and creative problem-solving.
After a stellar performance, Winchester House Team B has now secured a place in the UK finals, taking place in Oxford this September!
