Tatler Schools Review 2024

“This prep proudly lives by its motto, Non Nobis Solum or ‘Not for ourselves alone.’ Outreach projects are plentiful, from a pen-pal scheme with a nearby care home to joining host-village Brackley’s annual Soap-Box Race down the high street. In a similar spirit, academics are approached with a ‘growth mindset’ (Head Antonia Lee was proud to hear a Year 4 pupil recently say that self-marking helped them ‘think about what questions I ask myself next time I’m stuck, so I can work out the right answer.’) Inspiring speakers such as Clare Balding make regular visits, and Mastery Mornings see the children learning new crafts with experts. They leave for such senior school destinations around the country at Rugby, Headington and partner-school Stowe.”
