World Book Day 2026

 World Book Day at Winchester House

Pupils and staff at Winchester House celebrated World Book Day in fantastic style today, arriving at school dressed as their favourite literary characters. From classic storybook figures to modern favourites, the costumes brought plenty of colour and creativity to the day.

Pupils also took part in a book swap, bringing in books from home and exchanging them with friends – a wonderful way to give pre-loved books a new home and discover new stories.

It was a joyful day celebrating reading, imagination and a shared love of books across the school.
