Year 6 Space Adventure

Our Year 6s blasted off to the National Space Centre to kick-start their space topic this term!  They explored the Solar System in the Planetarium, learning about the planets and how our Solar System was formed. The excitement continued in a hands-on workshop discovering how satellites are sent into space and what they’re used for — before designing and building their own satellites to survive a simulated journey into space!
