Science at Winchester House seeks to inspire interest and curiosity across all aspects of science via a hands-on curriculum.
It’s taught within three specialist laboratories for each of the sciences – Biology, Chemistry & Physics.
Whole-class ‘in lab’ teaching by our subject specialist teachers, moving into individual and group work, creates an environment of discovery and challenge for our young scientists, helping equip and prepare pupils for an increasingly technological and scientific world.

In Pre-Prep, science is taught by the Class Teacher and in Year 3 & 4 via Key Stage 2 specialists and a Science Teacher.
In Year 5, Science is taught by a Science teacher and in Year 6 and above the Sciences are taught as the individual disciplines of Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
